WWDRA Information

The Western Washington Digital Radio Association is a group of amateurs interested in promoting the use of D-Star technology.  There are no membership fee or dues.  The purpose of the WD7STR repeater is to provide wide-area coverage of D-Star to the Puget Sound area.   It is completely open to all radio amateurs interested in D-Star communications.  The repeater is maintained by Randy, W7HR.

After we are satisfied with the performance of the repeater we are considering adding a 1.2 GHz digital data repeater at the site.  Lack of broadband internet access at the repeater site complicates the installation of a gateway for now, but it is not out of the question.

The repeater (and this web site) are works in progress.  As time goes by we will post updated information about the system and additional photographs.
